CSS and IBM partner to deploy "Desktop of the Future"

Chennai, India, June 5, 2007: CSS, the leading provider of IT operations management and support, announced today that it has been chosen as a preferred partner to deploy IBM’s new “Desktop of the Future” solution in the Indian and US markets.
As a preferred partner, CSS will promote and offer services around the innovative IBM solution which offers comprehensive desktop functionality including email, calendaring, instant messaging/chat, VoIP and web conference capabilities; document, presentation & spreadsheet editors with ODF support; role based aggregation of applications/ information sources; and rich client/web browser front ends. To help customers deploy the solution, CSS offers services such as jumpstart, end user segmentation, value assessment, application migration, pilot management and deployment, ongoing support.
CSS gamut of services includes, open client on ‘Domino’ and provide a dedicated team to support the collaborative solutions and middleware on Linux infrastructure, which can also be used as a competency center for open client solutions.
